CCAO Congratulates Kara Wente on Appointment as Director of Ohio Department of Children and Youth

COLUMBUS, OH – The County Commissioners Association of Ohio is excited to hear that Governor DeWine appointed Kara Wente to lead the newly created Department of Children and Youth. CCAO has enjoyed working with Kara in her capacity as the Director of Children’s Initiatives and during her time with ODJFS. Kara has fostered a collaborative environment with partners that share her passion for Ohio’s children, including county commissioners, executives, and council members, and we look forward to continuing to work with her in this new role.
